Tim Hortons “Smile Cookie” Week
Your support during Tim Horton’s #SmileCookie week last September was truly incredible. Together, we made a difference in our community as every $1 spent on a Smile Cookie at Southlake’s Tim Hortons went towards supporting the hospital’s most urgent needs, raising $2,094. Thank you for your generosity and for spreading joy with every delicious bite!
Living Lighting Newmarket
We are thrilled to share that “Living Lighting Newmarket” has once again shown their unwavering commitment to our community by supporting Southlake Regional Health Centre for the third year in a row! Through their generous ornament sales this past holiday season, they raised their largest total to date, $5,250 to benefit the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre.
The Beat Goes On
Thank you to everyone who participated in the 4th annual walk for Cardiac Rehab: The Beat Goes On! We’re thrilled to announce that you raised nearly $22,000 to support Southlake. Participants walked the track at Magna Community Center to get their steps in and show their support for this important cause. We want to give a special shoutout to Southlake’s Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation Team for their continued efforts to promote heart health and encourage everyone to get 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous activity each week for optimal health benefits. Let’s keep the beat going and prioritize our physical health!
BWG Megathon
Thank you to everyone who supported the 8th Annual Bradford West Gwillimbury Megathon at the BWG Leisure Centre, raising almost $1900 for Southlake’s Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation Program. With a lineup of classes for all fitness levels, this event was a huge success. A special thanks to Town of BWG Mayor, James Leduc for his ongoing support.
