New hospital website one of few to include both its foundation and hospital in Canada
Newmarket, Ontario – December 4, 2019 – Beginning today, Southlake Regional Health Centre and Southlake Foundation celebrate the launch of their new shared website: southlake.ca. The integration of both hospital and foundation into one site was developed with feedback from patients, families, staff and donors. This new website will help give patients and families the information they told us they want and need when they come to Southlake, and will help guide donor support to areas of need at the hospital. Southlake.ca will also show stories about the best experiences we provide – Leading edge care. By your side.
“I’m really excited to see our new modern refreshed website. This site is user friendly and is a great example of how we’re always listening to our patients and families and making improvements to create the best experiences,” said Arden Krystal, President and CEO, Southlake Regional Health Centre.
The website was designed with input from former Southlake patients and caregivers through the Patient and Family Advisory Committee. With this invaluable feedback, a mobile-friendly website was built to help patients and caregivers learn what’s next and find support at each step of their care experience.
