Southlake will be ready to receive COVID-19 vaccines as of December 21, 2020, so there will be no delay in offering vaccine appointments once we receive supplies.

In keeping with the priority groups identified by the Ontario government, the hospital will initially vaccinate staff working in long-term care homes, designated family caregivers of long-term care residents and hospital staff. The hospital is working directly with these organizations to schedule vaccinations.

Watch for future updates from the Ontario government about vaccine availability, including when you and your loved ones will be able to receive a vaccine. To learn more visit https://covid-19.ontario.ca/covid-19-vaccines-ontario. Eligibility criteria and details for scheduling an appointment will also be posted on Southlake.ca closer to when the hospital will be able to offer vaccinations to the broader community.

Please continue adhering to public health measures, including wearing a mask, cleaning your hands regularly and physically distance from others.
