NEWMARKET, ON – Southlake Foundation is thrilled to announce a reinvigorated 50/50 raffle with enhanced prizes for the holiday season.
Over $220,000 has been raised to date, with $115,000 won by lucky participants.
Every ticket purchased supports Southlake’s most urgent needs, helping to ensure clinical teams have the tools and equipment they need to care for every patient who comes through the hospital’s doors.
“We all want the best possible care for our loved ones. We often hear people say they would like to help Southlake, but they feel their donations are too small to make a difference. That’s not true. Every gesture of support for our hospital, including buying a 50/50 ticket, benefits patient care,” says Jennifer Ritter, President and CEO of Southlake Foundation. “Government funding doesn’t cover all of our needs, that’s why everyone’s support is so important. We need to purchase the vital tools, and equipment our doctors, nurses and other clinical staff need to provide leading edge care to our communities.”
Registered nurse Angela F. won $35,885 in December 2021 and was Southlake’s first 50/50 Raffle winner. She wanted to give back to her colleagues and community. “I work with some of the brightest, caring, and most resilient people I know,” said Angela F.

This season, the raffle offers a chance to win a $10,000 minimum to one lucky winner, plus four new $500 early bird draws. There are more chances to win than ever! All proceeds support the Southlake Regional Health Centre.
Southlake 50/50 Raffle details and deadlines:
- Purchase tickets at southlake5050.ca.
- You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase, residing in the province of Ontario at the time of purchase.
- Tickets are three (3) for $10, forty (40) for $20, or two-hundred (200) for $40. Plus a special holiday value bundle of seven hundred and fifty (750) for $75!
- First Early Bird Draw deadline is 11:59 p.m. EST on December 1, 2022. Two $500 cash prizes will be drawn.
- Second Early Bird Draw deadline is 11:59 p.m. EST on December 15, 2022. Two $500 prizes will be drawn.
- Grand Prize Draw deadline is at 11:59 p.m. EST on December 29, 2022. (Minimum $10,000 Jackpot)
- The Grand Prize Draw will take place on December30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. EST.
