NEWMARKET, ON: We have two big winners for Southlake’s new 50/50 community raffle. Angela F., a registered nurse at Southlake, won the first-ever jackpot of $35,885! In January, Karen K. of Bradford took home $23,505.
Just three months after its launch, the Southlake 50/50 raffle has been a huge success, generating over $120,000 in gross revenue.
“We appreciate our communities’ generous support as they continue to purchase 50/50 raffle tickets,” said Jennifer Ritter, Southlake Foundation President and CEO. “Each monthly draw generates much-needed funds for Southlake Regional Health Centre, in addition to having a meaningful impact for the grand prize winner.”
Angela is a Southlake RN.
Southlake’s 50/50 community raffle continues monthly, and you can purchase your tickets today. Be sure to get your tickets for the latest draw by Tuesday, March 1st to qualify for the $1,000 Early Bird draw.
The jackpot continues to rise each day. Donor support is essential to Southlake, because the government does not fully fund new or replacement equipment – critical to funding advanced tools and equipment to support our communities. Our frontline caregivers need these resources to deliver leading edge patient care, close to home.
Details of how the Southlake 50/50 raffle works:
• Tickets can be purchased at southlake5050.ca.
• All tickets will only be sold to people who are 18 years of age or older. Must be in the province of Ontario at the time of purchase.
• Tickets are three (3) for $10, forty (40) for $20, or our BEST VALUE two hundred (200) for $40!
• Early Bird deadline for a $1,000 cash prize is 11:59 p.m. EST on March 1, 2022.
• The Final Draw will take place on March, 16, 2022 at 11:59 a.m. EDT.
