On Monday, August 24, Southlake Health will begin maintenance and repair work in the West Parking Garage. The Security team will begin closing level 1 on the afternoon of Sunday, August 23 to prepare for this work.
Hundreds of patients and visitors come to Southlake every day. When they arrive, it is essential that they be able to move safely across campus. This maintenance and repair work is important to ensure the parking garage remains in good condition and continues to be safe for all patients, staff, medical staff, and visitors to use. Additional repairs at the ground level, as well as levels 1 and 6, will be done in phases, with completion expected later this fall.
Parking impacts
Parking will not be available on level 1 of the West Parking Garage during the first phase of this work.
Patients and visitors are asked to:
- Park on other levels of the West Parking Garage, or
- Consider parking one of the other lots identified below if the garage has reached capacity.
Access to the Southlake’s Regional Cancer Centre through the ground level of the parking garage will remain available.

Southlake’s parking lots are supported by CCTV cameras in common areas, helping Security monitor campus and respond quickly to any incidents. If you need assistance while on campus, please use one of the emergency communication stations in the parking lots to connect directly with Security.

The following lots are available for patients and visitors’ consideration in the event the parking garage has reached capacity:
- Lot 3 – Main Visitor Lot (596 Davis Dr.)
- Lot 4 – Medical Arts Building Lot (581 Davis Dr.)
