NEWMARKET, ON (September 14, 2022) – Mercedes-Benz Newmarket, along with the support of their customers and brand ambassador, Toronto Maple Leafs Defenceman Morgan Rielly, has generously donated $50,000 to Southlake’s HERE is Where Cancer Meets Its Match campaign.
The funds raised will support Southlake’s new $20 million cancer campaign that will grow its capacity to meet the increasing demand for care. It will ensure we can continue to bring the latest technology to Southlake’s Stronach Regional Cancer Centre and enable our talented clinicians to deliver the best care — and the best chance for our patients to survive their cancer — right here in York Region.
Throughout July, Mercedes-Benz contributed $200 from every new vehicle sold or leased at the dealership to support the Campaign. In August, Mercedes-Benz customers joined Leafs star Rielly at Magna Golf Club for the annual Mercedes Trophy golf tournament, where they raised additional funds through live and silent auctions.
As part of this event, Rielly generously donated his personal tickets to the Leafs game against the Pittsburgh Penguins on November 11 with a personal behind-the-scenes exclusive experience.
