Southlake Health is grateful for the outpouring of generosity it receives from the community each year.
For those interested in making a monetary donation to Southlake Health, please do so through Southlake Foundation. A donation to the Foundation is the best way to support patients across the hospital during the holidays, and throughout the year.
If you prefer to make a donation of a gift-in-kind, there are certain items that are particularly useful to patients we care for. These items will benefit infant to teenaged patients across various departments, including paediatrics, emergency, and child and adolescent mental health. They include:
-
Books and music: young adult fiction, Apple/Amazon gift cards
-
Personal care: slippers, blankets/throws, hair brushes, combs, shampoo, conditioner, lip balms, hand cream, make-up, mittens, gloves and hats
-
Mental health and wellbeing: child, teen and adult colouring books, small packages of crayons, tension balls, inspirational expression books
-
Toys and recreation: Infant and toddler toys, small to medium sized stuffed animals with no buttons or choking hazards (i.e. Beanie Boos, Disney characters), dolls (i.e. Barbie), child and teen board games and crafts, popular movies and children’s TV shows (i.e. Disney movies, Paw Patrol, Cars), handheld electronic games
