Southlake is a proud participant in HealthForceOntario’s Nursing Graduate Guarantee (NGG) program for newly registered RNs, RPNs and Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs). With funding support through the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, an extended, robust orientation will be provided at Southlake to support transition into practice.
The NGG program supports new RNs, RPNs and IENs who are within 12 months of registering with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). New graduate nurses who are successful candidates will be offered full-time positions as supernumerary staff, partnering with an experienced colleague for 12 weeks to enhance their transition to practice. Southlake will commit to providing the new nurse a full time position or equivalent of full time hours within one year of the NGG start date. Are you a recent nursing graduate?
