Southlake’s Board of Directors currently seeks to elect new Directors. To complement our skills-based Board, we invite applications from qualified individuals with expertise and knowledge in the field of government relations. Government relations refers to the strategic management of an organization’s interactions with government bodies, policymakers, and regulatory agencies. It involves activities such as advocacy, lobbying, policy analysis, and relationship-building to support public policy that aligns with the organization’s interests.
Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate knowledge of the healthcare sector and understand what it will take to meet the future needs of the rapidly growing communities we serve.
Board members receive no monetary compensation and are expected to devote approximately 12 hours per month to hospital matters. In addition to serving as a member of the Board, members must serve on a Board sub-committee: Governance and People; Quality; or Finance, Property and Audit.
