In May 2023, Southlake conducted a comprehensive review of both our public and staff parking rates following six years without a rate change. The review took into consideration the following factors:
- Parking costs of other hospitals in the province.
- Expenses associated with parking operations, including lot maintenance, snow removal, security, and other costs.
- Rate change parameters governed by the Provincial Hospital Parking Directive.
As a result of the findings of this review, Southlake will be implementing new public parking rates effective October 1, 2023.
